New NBA 2K20 Evo Super Packs Available With New Evolutions Added to Existing Cards for LeBron, D-Rose

On Wednesday, May 6, NBA 2K20 MyTeam announced the arrival of new NBA 2K20 Evo Super Packs. These special packs have 100 different Evolution cards available for random pulls. In addition, 2K20 announced they’ve added Evolutions to some of the existing Galaxy Opal cards in the game. Here’s more details on the new packs and EVO cards.

NBA 2K20 Evo Super Packs live for limited time

The Evolution cards, commonly known as EVO, are player items that gamers can evolve to have better overall skills and attributes. There’s 100 different Evolution cards available in NBA 2K20 Evo Super packs. These packs will be available for just 48 hours, though.

In the new NBA 2K20 MyTeam video below, they show off some of the brand new EVOs available. Among them are superstar LeBron James, Kristaps Porzingis, Kyrie Irving, and Derrick Rose. All of these are Galaxy Opal EVOs. The LeBron is from the 2K20 Out of Position series where he can play point guard or center.

Just from viewing the available limited time cards in the packs, there are lots of great players to choose from. They range from three EVO Sapphire players all the way up to the Galaxy Opal cards we mentioned above.

Some of the other players we saw in the limited-time EVOs include Pink Diamond Nikola Jokic, PD Aaron Gordon, Diamond Rajon Rondo, Ruby Markelle Fultz, and Galaxy Opal Bol Bol or Tacko Fall. Some gamers would call this one a major “W.”

Galaxy Opal EVOs: Bol Bol, Carmelo Anthony, Magic Johnson, Kristaps Porzingis, Tacko Fall, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Derrick Rose, and Ben Simmons.

New pack and player card costs

The new NBA 2K20 EVO Super Pack starts at 11,250 Virtual Currency for a five-item pack. At least one of those items is a player which could be any of the Evolution players from previous releases. There’s also a 10-pack box for 101,250 VC and a 20-pack box for 202,500 VC. Keep in mind they’re available for just 48 hours at the MyTeam Market.

Prices for many of these cards aren’t too outlandish. For example, we recently saw the D-Rose GO sell for 154,600 MT on PS4. Other listings were just over 100,000 MT. Bol Bol was around 154,000 to 254,000 MT on various listings.

That said, the King commands quite a price. The EVO LeBron James was going for about 1.2 million MT or more on the latest listings we saw. So gamers who want the best of the best are going to need quite a bank account to afford him.
