NBA 2K20 MyTeam Gives Fans Free Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant Packs
The NBA 2K20 folks are in a giving mood, as they are giving MyTeam gamers two free packs in the game right now. The pack giveaway situation is due to a recent milestone moment for Legends Edition cover star Dwyane Wade. Another seems to be a big thank you to the community. NBA 2K20 Dwyane Wade Spotlight/Prime Series II pack arrives after jersey retirement
The Miami Heat officially retired Dwyane Wade’s number on Saturday night. Wade had a jersey retirement ceremony at the game in Miami complete with a video highlight package. Wade also spoke as part of the milestone moment for his superstar career.
The NBA 2K20 Twitter paid tribute to the Legends Edition cover star with a special image on Saturday night to show off his 97 overall rating in the game. Also in honor of the multiple-time All-Star and Champion, NBA 2K20 provided a code to gamers to get a free Spotlight or Prime Series II pack in MyTeam.
The code to get a free pack is WADE-L3GACY-WEEKEND-MIAMI. It’s good for one week as of Saturday (Feb. 22) evening.
The D-Wade Prime Series II packs included high-rated Pink Diamond cards for Wade’s Heat former teammate Shaquille O’Neal and current Heat All-Star Jimmy Butler. So it’s possible to pull a pretty good card from one of these packs.
Free Kevin Durant Prime Series Pack is a Thank You to 2K Community
Another pack that dropped a few days ago is a lot easier to get right now. NBA 2K20 is giving all fans a free Kevin Durant Prime Series II pack just for signing into MyTeam on the game. We recently posted about these when they first arrived on Friday. These packs give a chance at some nice cards including that KD Galaxy Opal as well as a Pink Diamond for Russell Westbrook or Klay Thompson. Some gamers on social media have even claimed they pulled that KD GO card out of the free pack.
In addition to the KD and D-Wade packs, there’s another free pack available for today’s MyTeam Daily Rewards. It’s a Standard Spotlight Series II Andre Iguodala pack. So that gives yet another chance to add another decent card to the MyTeam lineup or sell at the Auction market.
Gamers are hoping for another free promotion involving a pack or Locker Code on Monday. The date is February 24 and as fans know, 24 was one of the two numbers that the late Kobe Bryant wore for the Lakers. Could that mean a Kobe Bryant Tribute card is on the way, or some sort of special pack? Fans are certainly hoping that’s the case.
