NBA 2K20 Moments Card and Challenge Available for Nets’ Caris LeVert After Career-High Game
It seems special moments are happening in the blink of an eye this NBA season, as players continue to exceed expectations. That was the case in a recent Brooklyn Nets game where Caris LeVert went bonkers, scoring a new career-high. In honor of the Nets star, a brand new NBA 2K20 Moments card and Moments Challenge are now available in MyTeam.
Caris Levert’s career-high earns NBA 2K20 Moments card
On Tuesday night, Caris LeVert scored 14 points in just three quarters for his team’s road game at the Celtics. However, according to ESPN, he erupted to outscore the Celtics 37-36 by himself over the fourth quarter and overtime. The end result was a career-high 51 points for LeVert and a big win for Brooklyn.
LeVert ended up shooting 17-for-26 in the game including 5-for-10 from downtown. In addition to his 51 points, he also recorded five assists and four rebounds in the 129-120 win. The NBA released a highlight video from his memorable night.
In recognition of the performance, he received a brand new NBA 2K20 Moments card as shown below. It’s a Pink Diamond rated at 97 overall which is available through Moments and Heat Check packs until Monday, March 9.
LeVert also received a Moments card with a 92 OVR for his February 8 performance. Spencer Dinwiddie and Kyrie Irving are other Nets with Moments cards so far this season.
LeVert’s new PD item has a 99 Offense and 98 Defense rating. It includes 19 Gold and 22 Hall of Fame Badges such as Volume Shooter, Range Extender, Green Machine, Deadeye, Clutch Shooter, Showtime, and Fancy Footwork. Right now, the card is going for near or at 100,000 MT on the PS4’s Auction listings.
New Challenge based on LeVert’s moment
Along with the NBA 2K20 Moments card, there’s a brand new challenge involving the scoring feat. We’ve seen quite a few of these arrive in MyTeam this season because players seem to be scoring 50-plus almost weekly.
To get to the LeVert challenge, head into MyTeam and scroll to the Single Player menu. Choose “Challenges” and then “Moments Challenges.” The “Moments: LeVert’s 51” is one of four challenges currently available along with others for Bradley Beal, Joel Embiid and Trae Young.
You’ve probably guessed the objective. Score 51 points in a game using any one of your MyTeam players against the Boston Celtics. You also need to make sure you win the game. It’s on Pro Difficulty Level and features five minute quarters.
For doing so, gamers can claim a reward of 2,500 MT, which can help with purchasing packs, players, or other items in the MyTeam mode.
As far as beating these challenges, it comes down to which scorer options one has on MyTeam. Some great choices are All-Stars capable of going off and scoring consistently such as LeBron James, Steph Curry, Vince Carter, Damian Lillard, Kevin Durant, and Michael Jordan.
