New NBA 2K20 Moments Cards for 3-Point Champion Buddy Hield, Skills Contest Winner Bam Adebayo
NBA All-Star Weekend 2020 brought plenty of exciting moments on the hardwood in Chicago. On Friday night, fans got to see the next generation of stars on the court in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge where Miles Bridges won the MVP trophy. On Saturday, it was the trio of contests with the Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest, and NBA Slam Dunk Contest. In honor of the winners of those Saturday night events, NBA 2K20 Moments cards are now available.
NBA 2K20 Moments card for 3-Point Contest winner Buddy Hield
Many of the league’s best sharpshooters brought their long-range shooting to the court in Chicago on Saturday night. The 3-Point Contest featured last year’s winner Joe Harris and the 2018 winner Devin Booker. Harris would bow out early on along with other competitors.
It would come down to Booker against Buddy Hield in a fantastic finale. Ultimately, Hield won it, hitting his last shot as the buzzer sounded to win by a point over Booker.
In honor of becoming the 2020 3-Point Champion, the Sacramento Kings star gets a new NBA 2K20 Moments card in MyTeam. Hield’s card is a 97 overall Pink Diamond with 28 Hall of Fame Badges. Those include Difficult Shots, Acrobat, Ankle Breaker, Volume Shooter, Clamps, and Giant Slayer.
Bam Adebayo wins Skills Challenge
Also receiving a new NBA 2K20 Moments card is Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat. The big man started the night off by winning the NBA Skills Challenge. Bam picked up the win on his final shot against Domantas Sabonis of the Indiana Pacers. That set the stage for his teammate Derrick Jones Jr. to claim the Dunk Contest trophy later on.
In honor of Bam’s big win on Saturday night, he gets a new 95 overall Diamond item in MyTeam as shown below. Bam has 27 Gold Badges and 25 HOF Badges including Hot Zone Hunter, Pick & Popper, Green Machine, Lob City Finisher, and Rim Protector.
The new NBA 2K20 Moments cards are available through the new All-Star Flash Packs. These went live in MyTeam as of Friday, February 14. Those packs also feature the Rising Stars MVP Miles Bridges as well as cards for Slam Dunk Contest finalists Derrick Jones Jr. and Aaron Gordon.
All of the above cards are also going to be selling on the Auctions area, so keep an eye out for the specific player items you’re interested in. Also, stay tuned for another NBA 2K20 Moments card to drop once the NBA All-Star Game MVP is named Sunday night.
