NBA 2K20 MyCareer cast members discuss roles, story
The NBA 2K2TV Season 6 Episode 2 brings gamers an inside look at the game and its players. One of the interviews in the new episode has co-host Alexis Morgan speaking with Candace Parker. With the WNBA in NBA 2K20 now, Parker discusses her all-time favorite five players and more.
In addition to that interview, 2KTV caught up with the NBA 2K20 MyCareer cast and crew during motion capture production. They didn’t speak with Idris Elba but caught up with MyPlayer himself Che, portrayed by Deric Augustine. The main character is looking to stand up for a teammate but also contemplating his own career path. Augustine calls his character Che “an avenger” who has to “make his way back to the top” through various trials and tribulations.
In addition, 2KTV talks to Rosario Dawson (Marvel’s Daredevil, Luke Cage) who plays advisor Isa Ellington and Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) who portrays agent Zachary Beighley. Also appearing in cast interview clips are Lamorne Morris (Barber Mo) and the movie’s director Sheldon Candis.
The NBA 2KTV episodes appear in-game during loading times for 2K20. During the 2K19 season, gamers were able to participate in various trivia and poll questions to earn in-game currency for use on MyTeam or other features.
There’s no arguing that the new MyCareer movie involved a lot of production. Still, with the game out for only a week, gamers were frustrated by NBA 2K20 MyCareer, MyPlayer, and other gameplay issues.
2K recently unveiled a huge 2K20 patch to address the numerous problems that gamers were complaining of when playing the game. With more patch or title updates likely to come, gamers are hoping the game will continue to improve.
