Just last week, 2K revealed the new NBA 2K20 MyPlayer Nation component for the basketball simulation game. With this new aspect of the 2K20 game, gamers get to use their MyPlayer with a real NBA team (virtually speaking) to try to grab victories against other teams. It brings a number of rewards, with one of the newest offers involving a team-up with Nike to allow gamers to get exclusive kicks in the game and in real-life. Just recently, 2K revealed more details about the first NBA 2k20 MyPlayer Nation event with a chance to qualify for some exclusive LeBron James kicks.
NBA 2K20 MyPlayer Nation details, first event
We previously revealed the upcoming challenge where gamers need to achieve a higher rating than LeBron James in 2K20 for Nike Gamer Exclusive kicks. In the recent episode of NBA 2KTV (and on 2K Twitter), they gave more of a look at how the NBA 2K20 MyPlayer Nation works. It involves playing a “real-world” game in NBA 2K20 using your MyCareer team and MyPlayer.
However, your team roster will be based on the in-game NBA Today rosters, not your MyCareer team roster. By winning games, you can earn exclusive virtual kicks for your MyPlayer. You also can qualify for a chance at real-life version of those kicks with Nike SNKRS. Here are more of the details for the MyPlayer Nation event.
Also in the video, they revealed that gamers who want a chance to buy exclusive Bron 2Ks need to participate in the event starting on Tuesday, October 29. It begins as of 7 a.m. Pacific Time (10 a.m. Eastern Time) on Tuesday and goes until 6:59:59 a.m. PT on November 5.
Make sure you have an active 2K account as well as the Nike SNKRS account and mobile app. You’ll need all of those as well as a high-rated MyPlayer to participate in the first kicks qualifying event. If you miss out, don’t worry, as there are more to come this season.
