NBA 2K20 MyTeam Cards: New Buzzer Beater Packs Feature Yi Jianlin, Dikembe Mutombo
New Buzzer Beater packs have arrived on Tuesday, May 19, bringing some top-notch NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards with them. Those include brand new Galaxy Opal items for former stars Dikembe Mutombo and Peja Stojakovic. In addition, there’s a Pink Diamond for Yi Jianlian among other items. Here are all of the latest details.
New Buzzer Beater Packs feature NBA 2K20 MyTeam Cards for Mutombo, Jianlian
An official trailer arrived on Tuesday showing us who’s available in the Buzzer Beater packs. Many fans will be pleased with new NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards for Dikembe Mutombo and Peja Stojakovic as each have Galaxy Opals.
Based on MTDB’s information, Mutombo brings great Inside Scoring (94), Athleticism (94), and Defending (97) as one would expect. His Playmaking is just 73, but Mutombo doesn’t have any Out of Position PG skills here.
The Human Eraser also has 10 Gold and 42 Hall of Fame Badges including Clamps, Pogo Stick, Defensive Leader, Brick Wall, and Relentless Finisher. Basically, if you need a solid interior defender and inside scorer, Mutombo’s your guy.
As for Peja Stojakovic, his GO gives gamers that great outside scorer with a 97 for that attribute. He’ll be your guy to hit those consistent shots including the three ball. Beyond, that his Playmaking, Defending, Athleticism, and Insider Scoring are all 89 or lower. Still, 15 Gold and 40 HOF Badges including Deadeye, Clutch Shooter, and Ice In Veins will come in handy.
Former NBA power forward Yi Jianlian is also available with a new 98 OVR Pink Diamond featuring 89 Outside Scoring, 87 Inside, 83 Playmaking, 84 Defending, and 90 Rebounding. There are also 21 Gold and 32 HOF Badges for him.
Rounding out the four new NBA 2K20 MyTeam cards is Stephon Marbury. Starbury gets a 95 OVR item for PG/SG with 29 Gold and 20 HOF Badges.
Latest pack and card costs
This is a return for Buzzer Beater packs, which we’ve seen in the Market before. However, as of earlier, gamers were reporting the cards weren’t showing up amongst the available items in packs. It appears the cards have popped up as available, as of this report, though.
The packs themselves are 7,500 VC or 10,500 MT for a five-card pack. A 10-pack Buzzer Beater box goes for 67,500 VC and a 20-pack box is 135,000 VC, for those who have the cash to spend. Keep in mind all of these only have a chance of pulling one of the four player cards above.
To get the specific player you want, spending MT at the Auction listings is the way to go, if you can afford it. There’s still over two hours left on the Mutombo listings and he’s up to 184,050 on PS4. Stojakovic is over 130,000 MT as of this report. Yi Jianlin is going for 100,000 to 110,000 MT, while Marbury is at just 38,000 MT for his Diamond.
