NBA 2K20 MyTeam Fan Favorites Packs return with new Galaxy Opals

Three Galaxy Opals arrive for veterans Jeremy Lin and J.R. Smith, along with Michael Porter Jr. in NBA 2K20 MyTeam. These players are considered fan favorites, hence the inclusion in the packs of the same name. Joining them are Jeff Green and Gerald Green with Pink Diamonds as well as Joe Smith with a Diamond and an Amethyst Dean Wade.

A brand new NBA 2K20 video trailer showcases the players and their cards for Fan Favorites Series II.

Since it’s a Galaxy Opal, J.R. Smith’s card is quite impressive with 18 Gold and 44 Hall of Fame level badges. Some of those badges include Showtime, Tireless Shooter, Volume Shooter, Clutch Shooter, Ankle Breaker, Dimer, and Clamps. Not bad at all for the 6-foot-6 SG/PG.

Michael Porter Jr. was part of the NBA 2K Players Tournament. He’s also considered a future star in the NBA. His new GO card brings mostly high 80s and 90s for his abilities.

The ones to watch are 50 overall Durability, 74 Passing Vision, and 60 for Pick and Roll D IQ. MPJ also has 40 Hall of Fame Badges with popular ones like Relentless Finisher, Acrobat, Deadeye, Volume Shooter, Pogo Stick, and Clamps.

Fan Favorites packs, boxes, and auction listings

The players mentioned above will appear randomly within the NBA 2K20 MyTeam Fan Favorites Series II packs. For 7,500 VC or 10,500 MT, gamers can purchase a single five-item pack. A 10-pack box goes for 67,500 VC or 135,000 VC right now. The more packs that one buys, the more chance there is to land one of the Fan Favorites such as the Galaxy Opal cards.

As with other releases, these are going to appear on the Auction listings as well. As of this report, the J.R. Smith GO card was going for 320,000 to over 350,000 MT on the listings we saw for PS4. Porter Jr. had listings going for around that 350,000 MT level. The Lin GO card was the least expensive of the three, with prices just going over 100,000 MT.
