NBA 2K20 MyTeam Prime Series 3 Brings LeBron James, Banana Boat Crew Galaxy Opals

The Banana Boat crew has officially arrived together as part of a new NBA 2K20 MyTeam Prime Series packs release. The popular group is headed up by none other than Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. He’s now the headliner for the NBA 2K20 Prime Series 3 packs just made available. We’ve got more details on the new player cards for the MyTeam mode.

NBA 2K20 MyTeam Prime Series III packs feature LeBron James and Banana Boat GO cards

The NBA 2K20 game has brought the Banana Boat crew back together for a special pack release. The group officially consists of LeBron James along with his pals Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony, both of whom were part of the same NBA Draft class.

Also part of their group is veteran point guard Chris Paul, who currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. All of these players are part of the NBA 2K20 Prime Series III packs with Galaxy Opal cards.

The new card is LeBron’s best since his card available for Out of Position players released a few weeks back. With the new Prime Series III GO, LeBron’s got 97 Inside Scoring, 97 Athleticism, 96 Playmaking, 96 Outside Scoring, 95 Defending, and 93 Rebounding. He also brings an incredible 55 Hall of Fame badges to your MyTeam roster, which makes sense for the King.

CP3, D-Wade, and Melo also get Galaxy Opals as well as veteran star Andre Igoudala. There’s also five-time NBA champ Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs up for grabs. His card is a Diamond, though.

Packs, boxes, and card costs

The NBA 2K20 MyTeam Prime Series III packs featuring LeBron James, Melo, CP3, and Wade, among others, are available for two weeks. Available at MyTeam Market, they carry a cost of 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT for the five-card packs. A 10-pack box costs 67,500 VC, while a 20-pack box costs 135,000 VC.

Hitting up the auctions will help get specific players, but only if you have the in-game bankroll to afford them. The new LeBron GO card is going for as much as a cool 1.3 million MT in the PS4 Auction listings right now. D-Wade is approaching 200,000 MT on some listings, with Melo going for about 150,000 or more MT.

The new packs arrive as plenty of NBA 2K20 Locker Codes are making their way around, giving MyTeam fans a lot of free content. In addition, details have arrived for NBA 2K21 pre-order including the special Mamba Forever Edition featuring Kobe Bryant.
