A number of new NBA 2K20 ratings arrived for players in early August. The game is just over a month away, but the incremental player ratings reveals are giving fans a tease of what’s to come. They also give plenty of topics for discussion, such as comparing players in terms of what NBA 2K20 gave them. Debates are raging on about the latest numbers. The recent reveals include the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma and newest member of the Utah Jazz, Mike Conley.
Kyle Kuzma NBA 2K20 ratings revealed
During the offseason, the LA Lakers made waves by finally orchestrating a trade to bring Anthony Davis to the roster. In the deal, the New Orleans Pelicans acquired three of the Lakers’ young stars in Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Josh Hart. However, Kyle Kuzma stayed on the roster and will team up with LeBron, Davis, Danny Green, and the rest of the squad this season.
On Saturday, fans got their first look at Kyle Kuzma’s new NBA 2K20 rating. He’ll enter the new season as an 84 overall, which seems like a fitting number for one of the league’s rising young talents.
Kuz started out as an 80 overall in NBA 2K19 for his sophomore season. He ultimately moved as high as 84 by week 10 of the season, but dropped a point to 83 to close things out. That said, NBA 2K20 brings a whole new season and apparently, they believe Kuzma is worth the slight boost.
For comparison, the Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum is an 85 in the game, so these two are about the same region. Neither has achieved All-Star status, but both seem capable in their careers. Tatum won last All-Star Weekend’s Skills Challenge while Kuzma won the MVP for the Rising Stars Game. It should be interesting to see how each of these young stars progress throughout the upcoming season.
Mike Conley, Boban Marjanovic also revealed
On Friday, two other players had NBA 2K20 ratings reveals hit the internet. First up is Mike Conley, who was traded to the Utah Jazz during the offseason. Conley will form an impressive backcourt that consists of himself alongside another rising young star, Donovan Mitchell. The ratings were kind for both players, giving Conley an 87 and Mitchell and 88. As shown below, it gives this duo an 87.5 average in the 2K20 game.
Interestingly, that puts the duo of Conley and Mitchell ahead of the Celtics’ duo of Walker and Tatum (86.5 average rating). Still, it seems about right based on both these guards’ abilities to make plays and light it up when it comes to scoring.
One other ratings reveal that arrived on Friday was for Boban Marjanovic. He formerly was a member of the Philadelphia 76ers where he joined his good friend Tobias Harris. Unfortunately they’re now apart, and “Bobi” will play for the Dallas Mavericks. NBA 2K20 showed him in his new jersey with a rating of 75 overall. The reveal also got his friend Tobias Harris involved, who still seems upset he’s lost his friend to a new team. 2K20 gave him the in-game fix for that issue.
The newest installment in the NBA 2K franchise will officially arrive on September 6, 2019. The popular basketball simulation game will be available on Sony PS4, Microsoft Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs.
