A series of new NBA 2K21 Around the World challenges has officially joined the MyTeam mode. With these new Spotlight Challengers, gamers are taking on some of the best international stars in the history of the league. Along the way, rewards are achieved including MT, contracts, Tokens, and other Collectibles. Of course, there’s also a grand prize player card for completing all of the challenges.
What are the NBA 2K21 Around the World Spotlight Challenges?
Over the history of the NBA, there have been a plethora of international players showing their skills off. Most notably, they include guys like Dirk Nowitzki, Yao Ming, Steve Nash, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. All of these players and more are part of the new NBA 2K21 Around the World Spotlight Challenges.
They’re found in the MyTeam mode in the Single Player menu area by selecting Spotlight Challenges. From there, choose “Around the World” to bring up the 10 new challenges featuring Triple Threat situations. Each challenge brings a trio of international stars you’ll need to defeat in a first team to 15 points game.
For example, the first challenge is “Italy” and features a team consisting of Andrea Bargnani, Marco Belinelli, and Danilo Gallinari. Other teams appear to feature Nash, Nowitzki, Yao, Tony Parker, and Pau Gasol.

- Germany – Pro (150 MT)
- France – Pro (Gold Consumables Pack)

- Intl. Team Up III – Pro (Gold Shoe Pack)
- Intl. Team Up IV – All-Star (3 Tokens)
Top Reward from Challenge is Ingles card
For defeating all 10 of the NBA 2K21 Around the World Spotlight Challenges, gamers will earn a new Ruby Joe Ingles player card. The new card for the Utah Jazz forward is rated at 88 overall with upgraded attributes ratings as compared to his base 77 card in MyTeam.
As mentioned in the NBA 2K21 MyTeam tweet above, completing this series of Spotlight Challenge also helps in Season 2 progression. The top prize for Season Spotlight Reward is a Rafaer Alston Diamond card for use in MyTeam play.
