NBA 2K21 MyTeam Agenda Groups Feature Ja Morant’s Playoff Performance, Dark Matter Reward
The NBA playoffs are in full swing, and many of the league’s stars are showing how bad they want to move further into the bracket. That included Wednesday night’s performance from Ja Morant for the Memphis Grizzlies, as he tried to help his team to 2-0. In honor of the second-year star’s playoff performance, there’s a new NBA 2K21 Moments Agenda Group which can earn a lot of XP. Additionally, one of the Los Angeles Lakers’ all-time greats has a new Moments Agenda for MyTeam.
NBA 2K21 MyTeam Agenda Group features Playoff moments
It’s only the first round of the NBA postseason, but there are already four of eight series tied at 1-1. That includes the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Utah Jazz, with Memphis nearly getting a 2-0 lead after Wednesday. NBA ROY Ja Morant shot 15-for-26 in the game and hit 15-of-20 free throws to finish with 47 points. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to help his team get another win.
Utah had seven players in double-digits and captured a 141-129 victory to even the series. That included former Utah All-Star Donovan Mitchell, who scored 25 points to lead his team. In addition, two of the Jazz players had double-doubles. Former Grizzlies guard Mike Conley who finished with 20 points and 15 assists, while Rudy Gobert had 21 points with 13 rebounds.
Ja Morant and Mike Conley’s performances are part of the newest NBA 2K21 MyTeam Moments Agenda Group revealed on Thursday. It involves matching parts of their performances with them in MyTeam. Gamers will need 47 points with a version of Ja Morant and a double-double with a version of Mike Conley. Morant has a 99 OVR Fan Favorites we recently saw return in the Future Rewind Packs.
In addition, gamers need to tally 101 points in MyTeam using Knicks players and 120 points in MyTeam using 76ers players. The end result is an extra 6,000 XP, which is helpful towards moving up higher in the level system, to eventually get the Level 40 Vince Carter card.
New Agenda Group earns George Mikan Dark Matter card
The NBA 2K21 MyTeam mode also brings another new Agenda Group as of Thursday. This one features the legendary George Mikan, with it now possible to earn his Dark Matter card by completing the tasks. Those tasks include scoring 61 with any Lakers center and getting 42 rebounds with Lakers players.
Additionally, gamers must win five Triple Threat games, three Triple Threat Online games, and one Unlimited game.
The end result for all of that hard work is the George Mikan Dark Matter card pictured above. According to the MTDB listing, it features 98 Rebounding, 95 Inside Scoring, 92 Athleticism, and 91 Defending. There is also 51 Hall of Fame Badges for “Mr. Basketball,” including Giant Slayer, Volume Shooter, Unpluckable, and Intimidator.
Achieving that feat may not be the easiest for some gamers, but scoring 61 points with a Lakers center in MyTeam should be cake. Amongst the available player card options are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Radioactive, Shaq’s Warped Reality, and the 97 OVR Wilt Chamberlain Rewards item in NBA 2K21 MyTeam.
Of course, don’t forget the newest Lakers big man, former 2K cover star Anthony Davis who has a Fan Favorites 99 OVR card available.
