NBA 2K21 MyTeam Cards: Playoff Stoppers Packs Arrive as First Collection Set of One Will Rise
A batch of new NBA 2K21 MyTeam cards arrived into the game via brand new Playoff Stoppers packs. With these, gamers can potentially pick up a top-rated Diamond player for their lineup. The Playoff Stoppers are the first pack release of five, with players able to collect all of the cards each release for a special reward.
What NBA 2K21 MyTeam cards are available in Playoff Stoppers?
One Will Rise Playoff Stoppers feature defensive stars from the basketball court, with the majority of them former players. There are five new NBA 2K21 MyTeam cards available inside of Playoff Stoppers packs.
The top-rated card is a Diamond Ben Wallace featuring a 93 overall rating. The former Pistons star gets 94 Rebounding, 87 Defense, and 82 Athleticism to give MyTeam rosters a solid option for the center position.
The next-best cards are Amethysts for PG/SG Dennis Johnson and SG/SF Doug Christie. Johnson is a 91 overall with 87 Playmaking, 84 Athleticism, 83 Defense, and 80 Outside Scoring. Christie brings 83 Outside Scoring, 80 Playmaking, 80 Defense, and 79 Athleticism.
Rounding out the five new cards are Ruby Bill Walton (89 OVR) and Tony Allen (88 OVR). Walton has 82 Inside Scoring to go with 89 Rebounding while Allen has 85 Defense and 83 Athleticism.

Since it’s early, there’s yet to be any Pink Diamond or Galaxy Opal releases inside of 2K21 packs, but they’ll be on the way in the future. We’ve previously seen Diamond items released for Hakeem Olajuwon and Larry Bird through Season Tip-Off packs.
However, there are rewards out there such as the 96 OVR Steph Curry for achieving Level 40, and a 96 OVR Paul Pierce in MyTeam Limited.
One Will Rise features four more packs, collection reward
The new Playoff Stoppers packs go for 7,500 Virtual Currency (VC) or 10,500 MT for a single pack of five NBA 2K21 MyTeam cards. Gamers can buy a 10-pack box for 67,500 VC or a 20-pack box for 135,000 VC for more chances at obtaining all of the cards. In addition, there’s the MyTeam Auction House to bid on and buy the individual cards.
NBA 2K21 MyTeam Twitter also released a new Locker Code to enter for a chance at getting a Playoff Stoppers pack among other rewards.
2K indicated that the One Will Rise Playoff Stoppers packs mark the first of five release for the One Will Rise season. Each Tuesday they’ll bring a new themed pack to the market with more cards to get. Gamers who can collect all of the cards from each release can exchange for a Pink Diamond Julius “Dr. J” Erving card for their squad.
Playoff Stoppers are available at MyTeam Pack Market with under a week remaining to buy them. There’s also the Season Tip-Off East or West packs along with standard League packs available, as of this report.
