NBA 2K21 MyTeam IDOLS Series I Packs Feature Dominique Wilkins, Giannis Antetokounmpo
The Human Highlight Film is now taking flight in NBA 2K21 MyTeam! The newest NBA 2K21 MyTeam IDOLS Series I packs have Dominique Wilkins as the featured star with a high-rated Pink Diamond card. He’s joined by the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, among other players. Here’s the latest on these cards and what else has dropped along with them.
New NBA 2K21 MyTeam IDOLS Series I packs and cards
We recently saw the unveiling of NBA 2K21 MyTeam’s Playoff Underdogs packs featuring Kyrie Irving and Dikembe Mutombo among others. Now those packs are joined in the Pack Market by a new IDOLS Series I drop. The previous headline star was San Antonio Spurs great Manu Ginobili. Now the packs put the spotlight on former Atlanta Hawks high-flyer, Dominique Wilkins.
Nique gets a 95 overall rating for as the second Pink Diamond IDOLS I card joining Spurs star Manu Ginobili. Attributes on Dominique’s card include 91 Outside Scoring, 89 Athleticism, 83 Inside Scoring, and 81 Playmaking. Wilkins also has a total of 31 Badges, including 24 of the Hall of Fame variety. They include Relentless Finisher, Green Machine, Giant Slayer, Tireless Defender, Pogo Stick, and Trapper.
Wilkins is joined by five new IDOLS I VIPs in the new release. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo leads that group as he gets a new 93 OVR Diamond card, while former guard Deron Williams gets a 94 OVR Diamond.
In addition, there are Amethyst cards for former players Willis Reed and Michael Cooper, while Eric Gordon gets a new Ruby. Check out all of the IDOLS VIPs cards here at the MTDB database.
As with previous releases, the packs sell for 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT. 10-pack boxes are 67,500 VC and 20-pack boxes go for 135,000 VC at the Pack Market. Cards are also available at the 2K21 Auction House.
New Locker Codes available
In addition to the packs with brand new cards, NBA 2K21 MyTeam also has some new Locker Codes for gamers to enter. One of those gives a chance at either the IDOLS Series I Manu or Dominique pack. The other possibility is two Tokens, depending on how the ball drops in the pinball machine.
With another NBA 2K21 Locker Code, gamers have a shot to get either LeBron James or Jimmy Butler. These cards are meant to be used in the latest NBA 2K21 MyTeam Limited event, where one of the two players needs to be part of your lineup.
