NBA 2K21 MyTeam Packs: Splash Zone Brings Invincible Shaq, Giannis, and D-Rose Cards
The latest NBA 2K21 MyTeam packs have arrived into the game, and with them comes a group of new player cards. Amongst those cards are four brand new Invincible items featuring some of the game’s top stars. That includes none other than a group of former NBA MVPs with Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Derrick Rose. In addition, there’s a Collection Reward in these NBA 2K21 MyTeam Splash Packs that gamers can earn, as well as brand new Agendas to use cards in.
Four Invincible cards available in NBA 2K21 MyTeam Splash Packs
A total of 12 new cards are featured in NBA 2K21 MyTeam Splash Packs, with the lowest-rated cards coming in at 96 overall. They include sharpshooter JJ Redick, along with young stars Matisse Thybulle and Marvin Bagley III. However, the top prizes in these new packs and boxes are the Invincible cards for Kareem, Shaq, Giannis, and D-Rose.
Shaq isn’t known for his outside shot, but with this new card he’s got 97 Outside Scoring including 98 from mid-range or three. Other attributes include 99s for Defense, Rebounding, Athleticism, and Inside Scoring. The big man also brings 65 Hall of Fame Badges with the item.
Each of the four players with new Invincible cards already had 99 overalls, but these will still give some nice upgrades. For example, Giannis’ other 99 OVR was his Out of Position card. With his new Invincible card, there are boosts to most of his top attributes, including six-point boosts for his Defense and Inside Scoring ratings.
Derrick Rose previously had a Retro 2K Vol. 3 card with a 99 OVR, while Kareem had a Radioactive card. Kareem’s previous 99 OVR card carried a 79 for Outside Scoring, while his new item comes in with a 98 for that attribute.
By collecting all 12 of the new cards available through the Splash Zone Packs, gamers can get the Collection Reward, an Invincible Bol Bol card for use in NBA 2K21 MyTeam. Packs currently cost 15,000 Virtual Currency, or 17,250 MT for a five-card pack with a “guaranteed” Splash Zone or Invincible card.
There’s also a chance to get one of these packs free by entering the NBA 2K Locker Code shown below in the appropriate Extras screen.
New agendas also available for MT Season 8
With pretty much each of the new NBA 2K21 MyTeam Packs released, there are new Agendas available. With the new Splash Zone packs, they’ve added 19 new Splash Zone Season Agendas. These are based on the player cards available through these packs.
For example, agendas focus on different tasks, such as making three-pointers with JJ Redick or Matisse Thybulle in games. Likewise, there’s an agenda to achieve assists with Michael Porter Jr. or double-doubles with Tyrese Haliburton. Other goals focus on achieving certain numbers of points, dunks, or rebounds with a player in one game or over multiple games.

Completing each Splash Zone Agenda brings a different amount of XP, ranging from 500 to 5,000. In addition, after completing all 19 of the Agendas, gamers will receive a Diamond Consumables Pack as a reward.
However, it’s the XP earned that really adds up, and for many gamers could be what helps them finally earn that Luka Doncic Invincible card as a Level 40 reward. As of this report, there is exactly three weeks left to get that prize added to the MyTeam roster.
