Another NBA 2K21 update has arrived on Tuesday for the next-generation game consoles. With NBA 2K21 Next-Gen patch 6, gamers will get a batch of updated player likenesses including All-Star Domantas Sabonis. In addition, 2K’s MyTeam on next-gen received fixes for various gameplay, menu, or other issues in the mode. Here’s a look at what to expect with the latest NBA 2K21 patch update for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
NBA 2K21 Next-Gen Patch 6 updated player likenesses, MyTeam fixes
2K revealed just eight players as getting likeness updates with NBA 2K21 next-gen patch 6 on Tuesday. We mentioned Indiana Pacers All-Star Domantas Sabonis, who was the top name to get an update. 2K also updated 2019 Slam Dunk contest winner Hamidou Diallo, who currently plays for the Detroit Pistons. There are also likeness updates for Landry Shamet (Nets), Luka Samanic (Spurs), Jahmi’us Ramsey (Kings), Tyler Bey (Mavericks), and Rayjon Tucker (Sixers).
NBA 2K21 next-gen patch update 6 brought several fixes for the popular MyTeam mode, which is currently in Season 6. In MyTeam, gamers can put together lineups of star-studded players. With these rosters, gamers take on various challenges for rewards including MT, Virtual Currency, player cards, and other special items.
Based on the patch notes here, this update there were menu issues reported by gamers with the Mystery tier in MyTeam Domination. These have now been fixed. They’ve also fixed an exploit that was allowing some gamers to take advantage in Unlimited and other multiplayer modes. In addition, additional preparations were added into MyTeam for the future seasons of the mode.

Latest Locker Codes bring Mystery pack, Pink Diamond player
Ahead of the NBA 2K21 next-gen patch update 6, there were several 2K21 Locker Codes for players to enter. For those who missed out, one of them will add a Pink Diamond player to the roster. Potential rewards including the all-time great Michael Jordan, Paul George, Desmond Mason, and Zach Lavine.
Other potential players that one could land are Larry Nance and Desmond Mason, who have since retired from the NBA. The Locker Code to enter is simply EASTER-HOPS and expires on April 11, 2021.
With the other NBA 2K21 Locker Code, gamers have a shot at one of the Mystery Packs. That could feature a Galaxy Opal Trae Young card or Darius Miles PD inside to really stack the roster. These packs go for 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT, and with Trae’s card fetching a lot at auction listings, it could be a nice freebie for a code.
There’s no guarantee for the pack. The code could also get 2K21 Tokens or a Badge card for boosting a player. Enter the code below, which will expire a week from today on April 13, 2021.
