NBA 2K21 Out of Position 2 Packs Feature New LeBron James, Oscar Robertson Cards
The Out of Position cards are back for MyTeam Season 2, bringing unique items featuring players at spots fans wouldn’t normally see them in. That includes Muggsy Bogues or Larry Bird as a center or Giannis Antetokounmpo at point guard. Standout cards for the new release include the 99 overall items with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and “The Big O” Oscar Robertson both featured.
LeBron, Robertson available in NBA 2K21 Out of Position 2
King James, Greek Freak, and DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins can all play at point guard now for MyTeam rosters thanks to their NBA 2K21 Out of Position 2 cards. The packs were officially released into the Market on Friday, May 28, as NBA 2K tweeted a quick trailer clip (below) featuring LeBron and company.
LeBron’s newest 99 OVR card allows him to play either point guard or center, making for an interesting boost to NBA 2K MyTeam lineups. The 6-foot-9 Lakers star is featured with his former Cleveland Cavaliers on this new card. It includes 97 Playmaking, 96 Athleticism, 95 Defending, and 94 Inside Scoring, along with 49 Hall of Fame Badges.
Oscar Robertson’s new card is a 99 OVR Invincible item. The Big O was a point guard in his playing days with Milwaukee and Cincinnati, so the card hasn’t changed that about him. His attributes are also stellar with 99s for Outside Scoring, Playmaking, Athleticism, and Rebounding.
There is also the 98 Inside Scoring and Defending plus the 62 HOF Badges. These include popular entries such as Acrobat, Difficult Shots, Ankle Breaker, and Tireless Defender.
OOP 2 Locker Code, limited time cards list
As with other promotions, 2K blessed fans with another Locker Code with a shot at getting one of the OOP 2 packs. Enter “PG-LEBRON-AND-GIANNIS-OOP2” in MyTeam’s Extras menu at the Locker Codes option. This one expires on June 4 for MyTeam entry.
We’ve already mentioned LeBron and Robertson’s cards above, but they’re joined by 10 other cards that are possible in these packs. Among other top items are Giannas as a PG/SG, and Luka Doncic or Muggsy Bogues at center.

MyTeam packs, boxes, and auction prices
Head to the MyTeam Pack Market where there’s a limited time to pick up NBA 2K21 Out of Position 2 packs. They currently go for 11,250 Virtual Currency or 15,000 MT for a single five-card pack. A 10-pack box is 101,250 VC and the 20-pack box is 202,500 VC.
As for the 2K21 Auction House, LeBron’s new OOP 2 card is reaching near one million MT on PlayStation listings. The Big O Invincible Dark Matter card is going for over 320,000 MT, which isn’t bad at all for a card of that type. Giannis seems to be among prized cards at the moment as it’s reached as high as 1.7 million MT on PlayStation listings.
In addition to the new Out of Position 2 packs and cards, there is also a series of new Agendas available. These will require having various OOP 2 player cards to achieve specific feats. Examples include getting 10 dunks with Muggsy Bogues or pulling in 20 rebounds with Ben Simmons over multiple games.
Find these in MyTeam’s main menu screen by selecting the upper left graphic, which has “Season 7: Agenda.”
