A new series of Spotlight Challenges has arrived in NBA 2K21 MyTeam. Part of Season 2 content, the NBA 2K21 Team Up Challenges feature different single player challenges with rewards. There’s also a Ruby Adrian Dantley card available to unlock and use for MyTeam rosters. Here’s what you’ll need to do in order to complete the challenges and get that card.
NBA 2K21 Team Up Challenges feature Star trios
Over the course of NBA history, there have been some great Big Three formations for teams. Many fans will point back to the Chicago Bulls when they had Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman. However, more recent times brought some fierce combos including LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. Now in conjunction with Team-Ups Packs, there are new challenges.
A total of 10 NBA 2K21 Team Up Challenges now await gamers in the MyTeam Single Player Challenges area. Each one features a Triple Threat matchup consisting of a Big Three. For example, gamers start off facing a Wizards trio of Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison, and Caron Butler. From there, it’s on to the Clippers’ All-Star trio of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan.
Here are each of the challenges in the new Team Up series:
- Wizards Team Up – Pro – 100 MT
- Clippers Team Up – Pro – Silver Contracts Pack
- Lakers Team Up – Pro – Two Tokens
- Celtics Team Up – Pro – 200 MT
- Lakers Team Up II – Pro – Gold Consumables Pack
- Cavaliers Team Up – Pro – 250 MT
- Lakers Team Up III – Pro – ’20 Lakers Player Pack
- Bulls Team Up – Pro – Gold Contracts Pack
- Heat Team Up – Pro – 3 Tokens
- Warriors Team Up – Pro – Next is Now: Team-Ups Award Pack
The newest Spotlight Challenges join the recent Around the World Challenges along with previous ones including S2 Spotlight Tip-Off and Decade Dunkers.
Ruby Adrian Dantley is final reward
Adrian Dantley previously played for the Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons. A Ruby card of the former NBA star awaits those who complete each of the 10 challenges outlined above. You’ll need to complete the first challenge to unlock the next one, and so forth. However, you’ll also get all those other rewards along the way.
His card attributes include 87 Outside Scoring including 98 Shot IQ and Offensive Consistency. He’s also got 84 Athleticism, 83 Playmaking, and 81 Inside Scoring.
Dantley doesn’t get any Hall of Fame Badges but has 23 Gold Badges. Some of those include Fancy Footwork, Giant Slayer, Showtime, Green Machine, Volume Shooter, and Space Creator.
While the card won’t blow away too many MyTeam fans, completing the NBA 2K21 Team Up Challenges to get Dantley’s card is important. It’s part of the path towards achieving the Season 2 Spotlight Reward of Diamond Rafer Alston.
