NBA 2K22 MyTeam Hoopsmas Rewards: How to Exchange Presents and Candy Canes
The NBA 2K22 MyTeam Hoopsmas promo is underway, giving fans of the particular mode free gifts for the next few weeks. Those gifts come via daily Hoopsmas packs, which gamers can open. Some of those packs have specific items in them that are immediately usable in-game. Others contain Hoopsmas Presents or Candy Canes. Those items need to be exchanged for Hoopmas rewards. Here’s what you need to know to participate and get those rewards!
What are NBA 2K22 MyTeam Hoopsmas rewards?
With the holidays hitting during MyTeam Season 3, NBA 2K22 is giving daily gifts to gamers. In the video game, they launched the NBA 2K22 MyTeam Hoopsmas promo last Friday, December 17th. The promo is scheduled to run until the end of the year, with the final day coming December 31st. That means two weeks full of free daily rewards.
To get the rewards, gamers need to log into NBA 2K22 MyTeam mode each day. Upon getting to the first screen, there will be a Hoopsmas pack to receive, and open. Inside the first of these packs, there was a special Snowflake basketball for use in 2K22 MyTeam.
In addition to getting a Hoopsmas pack each day, make sure to log in for a full week to get a spin on the MyTeam prize wheel. This gives a chance at packs, Tokens, MT currency, or other rewards.
However, other packs contain either a Present or a Candy Cane. These can be used to exchange for specific rewards that gamers choose. Those rewards include Tokens, packs, Consumables, and Events. Read below for the specific rewards and what’s required to get them.
How to use The Exchange with Presents or Candy Canes
If you’ve received a Candy Cane or Present from NBA 2K22 MyTeam Hoopsmas packs, you can use them to get special rewards. Some of these are one-time rewards, while others are available on a daily basis. They include the recent 2K22 Signature Series III packs released the same day as the promo launched.
Here’s a look at all of the available Hoopsmas rewards in the promotion:
- Hall of Fame Badge: exchange 1 Present (one-time exchange)
- Diamond Consumable: exchange 1 Present (one-time exchange)
- Diamond Consumable: exchange 1 Present (one-time exchange)
- 50 Tokens: exchange 1 Present (one-time exchange)
- Amethyst Player card: exchange 1 Present (one-time exchange)
- Signature Series III Pack: exchange 1 Present (Daily exchange)
- Series 1 Pack: exchange 1 Candy Cane (Daily Exchange)
- Present Event Card: exchange 3 Candy Canes
To get a reward, you’ll need to go to the NBA 2K22 MyTeam Exchange. You can find that by going to the “My Team” option on the top of the main screen, and then scrolling down to select “The Exchange.”
Once there, scroll down to the specific reward you want and use your controller button to select it. You’ll see a pop-up menu at the bottom of your screen which shows if you have any Presents or Candy Canes to exchange.
Scroll to the item you need to exchange and Press/Hold the Square button PlayStation controller or X button on the Xbox controller. Use the other appropriate button for Nintendo Switch or PC to claim your reward.
With the rewards above, if you exchange for a “one-time” reward, you’ll no longer see it among the options at The Exchange.
Remember to keep logging into NBA 2K22 MyTeam daily so you can rack up the rewards as it’s a great way to add to your squad during the holiday season. Hoopsmas will expire on Friday, December 31st, with MyTeam Season 3 ending about a week later.
