EA Sports will release a demo of NBA Live 19 on August 24 at 12 am EST. Players all around the world will be able to try the game out before buying it, and it seems that the developer is quite confident in this year’s release of the video game. As it was previously revealed, NBA Live 19 will not use the Frostbite engine, which means that players can expect big things from it.
At the moment, there are not many details about what the demo will include. However, it is realistic to expect EA Sports to give us at least one quarter of a 5-on-5 game between two NBA teams, possibly the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Screenshots of the video game look promising, but its gameplay may not be as good. Animations are not really good in NBA Live 18, and that is what EA Sports has to work on. The upcoming demo will give us enough of gameplay that we should be able to see the new animations for ourselves.
NBA Live 19 Demo will be released one week before the demo of its main rival, NBA 2K19, comes out. NBA 2K19: The Prelude is scheduled to come out on August 31, which means that EA Sports will have enough time to win some players over and get them to switch games.
Even though NBA 2K18 is not perfect, it is much better than NBA Live 18. NBA 2K18 has sold over 10 million copies as of August 2018, while NBA Live 18 hasn’t reached even 1 million sales, despite its low price. Keep in mind that those who preordered NBA Live 18 paid only $39.99 for it, and the game had been on sale for under $20 multiple times.
Will things finally get better for NBA Live and EA Sports this year? Don’t forget to grab the demo on August 24 and answer that question for yourself!
