New 50v50 Mode Is Coming To Fortnite Battle Royale

Season 6 has brought numerous changes to Fortnite Battle Royale, and it seems that Epic Games is just getting started. The latest patch added many new files to the game data, allowing data miners to recover them. Once again, we can see what’s coming to the video game thanks to this.

According to the game data, the Fortnite developer will release two new limited-time game modes soon. The first mode, Disco Domination, has already been announced through the in-game news. The second mode is another variant of a 50v50 mode, and we don’t know much about it at the moment.

Capture the flag

Capture the flag mode may come to Fortnite

Data miner @FNLeak has discovered “Seize” folder in the game data. This folder is directly in the 50v50 folder, and the other folder that can be found there is called “Soaring.” Judging from this, we expect the new game mode to be called “Seize 50v50.”

It is interesting to note that the same folder refers to something called “Flag,” which makes us believe that this could be a Capture the Flag mode. Fortnite players would like to see something like this, and there is a good chance that it comes to the game.

At the moment, we have no details about a potential release date of this mode. However, it is safe to say that it will replace Soaring 50’s mode. Additionally, Epic Games will probably keep one 50v50 mode available at all times. Considering that these large-team modes are not very competitive, they allow new players to learn the game more easily.

This limited-time game mode could come out at the same time as the Disco Domination LTM. However, it is currently unknown when Epic Games will release the next update. We believed that it could happen on Tuesday, but it appears that the game developer has decided to release the update on another day.
