One of the notable features on Battlefield 5 PC is the addition of the new ray tracing feature. This cutting-edge system is only available on the new series of NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards, and offers some of the most impressive visuals around. DICE has announced a new Battlefield 5 bundle which pairs the game with one of these new graphics cards. Additionally, the studio announced a new contest called “Shot with GeForce,” in collaboration with NVIDIA.
The New Battlefield 5 Contest and Bundle
The first part of DICE’s new partnership with NVIDIA is a new Battlefield 5 bundle. The new bundle allows customers to buy either the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 2080, or 2070 graphics cards and also get a copy of Battlefield 5. The bundle is also available for gaming desktops including one of these three cards. Only a handful of recently-released games have ray tracing compatibility, but the revolutionary feature is likely to be more common going forward.
The second part of the new partnership is the Battlefield 5 Ansel Contest, called “Shot with GeForce”; “Calling all war photographers,” says DICE; “We want to see what you can do on the battlefield. Share your best Battlefield 5 War Stories screenshot, and you could win a GeForce RTX graphics card.”
The winner of the new contest will receive one of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards. As the most powerful card in the new series, it is also one of the most powerful gaming GPUs in the world. The first runner-up in the contest will receive a GeForce RTX 2080, while a second runner-up will instead receive a GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card. To enter the contest, simply download the newest version of GeForce Experience in order to enable Ansel in Battlefield 5. With Ansel, you can use a photo mode during the Battlefield 5 War Stories by pressing Alt + F2. When you have your screenshot, upload it to the Shot With GeForce gallery. Then, share the image on either Twitter or Facebook with the #Battlefield, #NVIDIAGeForce and #SHOTWITHGEFORCE hashtags. Entrants can submit as many images as they want until the 16th of December.
