On Monday, Treyarch launched Operation Dark Divide, the sixth post-launch content season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The season brings new multiplayer maps, as well as Tag Der Toten, the final episode of the Aether Zombies storyline. Of course, it also includes a plethora of new cosmetic items available in the Black Ops 4 Black Market; items ranging from new weapons and outfits to death effects and Blackout characters.
What’s New for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Black Market
The first, and perhaps most notable, feature related to the Black Market in Operation Dark Divide is the addition of 50 unique tiers for the Contraband stream. This includes the VKM Mastercraft, as well as new Legendary and Epic Outfits, before culminating in an Ultra Weapon Bribe. Additionally, several new weapons are available in the Black Market, including the AN-94 and VMP (now available in Zombies via the Mystery Box too), and the Echohawk Dual Bore, plus the Outrider Series 6 melee weapon.
Of course, there’s also some new items to customise those weapons and others with. The UFO, Time’s Up, and Man’s Best Friend Weapon Charms have been added, together with three new Mastercrafts; “Desecrator” for the Rampage, “Game Over” for the KAP 45, and “Predator” for the S6 Stingray. There are also MKII versions of three weapons; the Mozu, Paladin HB50, and VKM.
When it comes to Outfits, most of the new options fit into Operation Dark Divide’s superhero theme. For Legendary Outfits, players can acquire Spectre’s “Compost” outfit, Reaper’s “CA-K3” outfit, and Torque’s “Flamingo” outfit through the Contraband stream. There are also new hero-themed Epic Outfits for every Specialist, including outfits like “Rigor Mortis,” “Blood Moon,” and “Kitty Six”. In addition, players can get two new Reactive Camos called “Solar Flare” and “Future Sight” in Reserves. Finally, there are two new Death Effects and a new “Aether” Jump Pack.
