CD Projekt Red still has yet to release the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo which was shown at E3 (and which is currently being shown at Gamescom), although it could finally get a public release after the event concludes. However, you can get a new glimpse at this demo thanks to NVIDIA, who released a new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay video compiled from clips of the demo. Specifically, with ray tracing enabled. Although the trailer doesn’t linger for long on any one scene, it’s clear that the graphics are impressive.
The Latest Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Video
Just like last year, CD Projekt Red released a gameplay demo at E3 which, months later, still hasn’t gotten a public release. Fortunately, the likelihood of it being released online is very high once Gamescom concludes. However, for the time being, fans can get a look at what it could include in NVIDIA’s new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay teaser. Some of the clips shown in the video appeared at the end of the game’s E3 trailer. However, there are also clips that are totally new.
NVIDIA seems to have partnered with CD Projekt Red during Gamescom to promote both the game and NVIDIA’s ray tracing technology. Not only did the company release this new video, they also released several new screenshots with ray tracing on. Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red released almost a dozen screenshots of their own. Given that some of them match up to scenes in the trailer, it’s likely that many of these screenshots may have been taken from the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo. For now, fans will have to wait and see for when the demo finally gets released online.
At this point, Cyberpunk 2077 is now just under eight months away from release. That’s still a lot of time. As such, fans shouldn’t expect CD Projekt Red to suddenly ramp up marketing for the game anytime in the near future. More likely, the studio will wait until after the major September-November release window. This will let them avoid having to compete with the big late-2019 releases. (Including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Borderlands 3, etc.) More likely, they will begin to increase their marketing efforts towards the end of the year. They may even wait until early 2020.
