Following the recent reveal of several pieces of Cyberpunk 2077 concept art which showcased a variety of fashion and cultural styles, CD Projekt Red has made the artwork available as a new series of Cyberpunk 2077 posters. The stunning new posters are now available in the CD Projekt Red Store; expanding the relatively small but growing collection of Cyberpunk merchandise.
The New Styles of Cyberpunk 2077 Posters
Announced yesterday by CD Projekt Red, there are four new Cyberpunk 2077 posters available in total. Each one features concept art from a series called ‘Styles of Cyberpunk 2077,’ each of which bears the name of a specific style from Night City; Entropism, Kitsch, Neomilitarism, and Neokitsch. The posters are available in both premium (B2) and standard (B1) sizes. The standard posters cost 27,00€, while the premium versions cost 54,00€. (With a 5,00€ shipping fee in either case.)
The styles showcased in the new series range widely through the aesthetics of Night City. Entropism, for example, has the tagline of “Necessity over style,” while Kitsch declares; “Style over substance”. Certainly the two are polar opposites, with Entropism’s grungy realism contrasting against Kitsch’s colourful neon flair. Of course, Neokitsch goes even further with “style and substance”; a luxurious style which boasts a sleeker look than Kitsch popular among the Night City elite.
Standing in stark contrast to all of the others, however, is Neomilitarism. This matte-black, militaristic style is described by CD Projekt Red as; “the look of global conflict and corporations jockeying for power, making everything and everyone look as if they are ready to drop out of an AV’s cargo door and head straight into combat“. In opposition to Kitsch, Neomilitarism has the slogan; “Substance over style”. All of these styles, and no doubt a few more, will be present in Night City when Cyberpunk 2077 releases next year. Indeed, players will likely have the ability to style themselves along any of these possible aesthetics, or something totally different.
