A New Exclusive Revenant Skin is Now Available in Apex Legends

Apex Legends veterans will no doubt be familiar with the game’s long-term partnership with Prime Gaming. Every month, Respawn releases an exclusive skin, only available for Prime Gaming subscribers. The latest of these, and the second to arrive in Season 9, is a new Revenant skin; Sakura Steel.

Apex Legends’ New Sakura Steel Revenant Skin

Sakura Steel Revenant is the latest new skin to release as part of the ongoing partnership between Apex Legends and Prime Gaming. The skin is exclusively available to Prime Gaming subscribers, as per usual, and also available for only a single month. As of yesterday, subscribers can now claim the skin for themselves, and it will be available up until the 13th of July.

The new Sakura Steel Revenant skin is the second Prime Gaming exclusive skin to release during Legacy; Apex Legends’ 9th season. The first was Punk Rocket, a new skin for Valkyrie, the new Legend who debuted at the start of the season. This isn’t the first time that a Revenant skin has featured as a Prime Gaming reward. Like Valkyrie, Revenant also received an exclusive skin shortly after the robotic Legend had his own debut. Punk Rocket is still available for a few more days, if you haven’t yet claimed it. Each exclusive skin is typically available for a couple of days after the release of the next one, to allow players one last chance to grab them.

In the meanwhile, Apex Legends Season 9 is still very much in full-swing. It has only been a month since Legacy began, bringing with it Valkyrie, the ‘Bocek’ bow, and major map changes for Olympus, among other things. In fact, Season 9 has also seen the launch of Apex Legends’ first-ever permanent alternate game type; Arenas. This round-based 3v3 game type has its own custom maps, designed for a much smaller scale than its traditional battle royales. It remains to be seen whether Arenas will prove successful with the game’s audience. Certainly, there is plenty of room for expansion with the next season, if it does prove to be popular.
