New Fortnite Backpacks Datamined, Include Medic And Intel Packs
With backpacks being added to Fortnite with the new and incoming updates, players are now datamining the game’s files to see what other sort of stuff they can expect to see later. While Fortnite’s jetpacks have already been added, there are other new Fortnite backpacks that will also be coming.
Two of the most notable of these include the “Intel” backpack and the “Medic” backpack. Both of these are set to change up the way that the game works in a variety of ways as they have various functions that can help you in certain game aspects.
For instance, the “Medic” variant of the new Fortnite backpacks apparently allow you to revive teammates if they’re downed or possibly killed, which can be a big boon in team games where you’ll be cooperating with other people. That way, if they get downed and you can kill their attacker, you can revive them easily and still have a full team, or at least lessen casualties.
The second of the new Fortnite backpacks, however, is definitely something useful. The Intel backpack appears to be the same as the Eye of the Storm tracker that previously appeared in the game, only to be almost immediately removed, but we now know what it can do. It can not only find the storm eye, and thus safety, but it also points out various enemies on the map, along with places that you can find loot.
Considering that trying to avoid players while grabbing good loot is one of the main objectives of a Battle Royale game, the Intel backpack might be even more useful than the Medic backpack, or even the Jetpack. But either way it’s good for game balance, especially with the Jetpack only being a limited-time item.
Other backpacks that will be added to Fortnite eventually include backpacks like the BoostJumpPack (which is the Jetpack), the Carmine Pack, the Glider Pack, a Missile Battery, and a Test Pack, all of which have a lot of potential to change how the game plays, if you can find each pack in-game.
So, just be on the lookout for when the game starts to add more new Fortnite jetpacks, and try and get one if you can.
