New Madden 20 Color Smash Elite Players Khalil Mack, Derrick Henry Arrive on Easter
Just in time for the Easter holiday, new Madden 20 Color Smash Elite players showed up in the game. They include popular stars Khalil Mack of the Chicago Bears and Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans. In addition, two other players were revealed online, while many gamers opened up their Color Smash Eggs. Here’s what’s up with the promotion.
New Madden 20 Color Smash Elite player cards for Mack, Henry
Earlier on Easter Sunday, the MUTLeaks Twitter revealed four new Color Smash players. They were merely the player card art with no stats known about the cards themselves. Gamers quickly figured out that they were Titans halfback Derrick Henry, Bears linebacker Khalil Mack, Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton, and Packers safety Adrian Amos Jr.
Once the cards began to pop up in Ultimate Team, everyone learned that Amos and Hilton were 94 overall cards. Meanwhile, Khalil Mack and Derrick Henry are the Madden 20 Color Smash Elite players. Each player has a 97 overall card available.
Bears fans will be happy to see another player for their theme team with the new 97 OVR Mack. The 6-foot-3 left outside linebacker has 97 Play Recognition, 96 Power Moves, 94 Block Shedding, 92 Finesse Moves, 91 Tackle, and 90 Strength.
The Titans’ Derrick Henry returns with a 97 OVR card as well. The 6-foot-3 halfback has 99 Carrying, 95 Trucking, 94 Break Tackle, and 93s for Speed and Acceleration. He’s also got the Power Up option and various Superstar abilities to add with Training.
All of the new Color Smash cards are available in packs as of today. All four players are also showing up on the Auction Browser. We’ve seen the Madden 20 Color Smash Elite Derrick Henry selling for as low as 390,000 Coins on the PS4, and over 425,000. Khalil Mack is currently going for considerably more with auction listings starting at 710,000 Coins and going up from there.
Color Smash promotion brings new uniforms and Eggs
On Sunday (April 12), it was Easter Day, meaning the Madden 20 Color Smash promotion brought some goodies. Upon signing into Ultimate Team, gamers should have received a free Color Smash uniform for their team to rock. It includes the home and away, as shown below.
In addition, anyone who bought Color Smash Eggs could open them today. Eggs were mostly obtained through earning the Color Smash Candy and using it to buy Eggs at the Store. There were different sizes of the Eggs and even Rare Eggs which include Ultimate Legends, Team of the Week, Playoffs, and other player cards from different promotions.
