While most weekends bring two Madden 20 Legends to the Ultimate Team world, this weekend there are three new player items. They’ll include the standard legends with Ed Too Tall Jones and Clinton Portis. However, there’s also a new limited Legends item available for former Green Bay Packers star Donald Driver.
Madden 20 Legends: Ed Too Tall Jones, Clinton Portis arrive in game
There are brand new Madden 20 Legends items featuring all-time gridiron greats Ed “Too Tall” Jones and Clinton Portis. These are available in packs, where gamers can acquire a series of five different cards for each player to put together a set. Once that set is completed, it earns a Boss Legends item for that player.
Bobby Portis’ career stats included 113 games with 2,230 carries for 9,923 yards and 75 touchdowns. Here’s a look at his new 92 OVR Boss Legends card. It includes 91 Acceleration, 90 Speed, 90 Agility, and 88 Elusiveness for a nice halfback option.
Left end Ed Too Tall Jones starred as a member of the Dallas Cowboys defense in his heyday. His new item is also a 92 overall and has Power Up just like Portis does. Amongst Jones’ key attributes on the card are the 92 for Block Shedding, 91 Strength, and 90s for both Tackle and Power Moves.
In addition to the Boss Legends cards and other cards for these players in packs, there will be new challenges available. One challenge is available for Clinton Portis and the other for Ed Too Tall Jones. Completing this challenges involves defeating that player’s current team with Portis and Jones playing for them. By defeating the team, you’ll earn a Power Up card for that player as well as Coins.
New Donald Driver LTD Legends Boss, Power Up items
They also have unveiled a LTD Legends item for Super Bowl and Dancing With the Stars Champion Donald Driver. The former Packers wide receiver’s LTD card is a Power Up with Green Bay Chemistry. Driver has 91 for Deep Route Runs, 90 for Speed, 90 for Catching, and 90 for Spectactural Catch, which gives yet another nice option at wide receiver to go with Randy Moss, Julio Jones, and Tory Holt on MUT rosters.
Limited items usually remain in packs for two or three days so that means it’s on to the Auctions area of Madden 20 Ultimate Team after that. Most likely, Donald Driver’s new item will carry a high price in terms of Madden 20 Coins just based on the key attributes this card brings to the field. Just like Portis and Jones, there is a new LTD Power Up challenge available for Driver.
The Legends program features some of the all-time greats from the game of football, both offensively and defensively. Previous legends have included Brian Urlacher, Steve Young, Jerry Rice, and Lawrence Taylor.
