Ultimate Team rosters can add another pair of Madden 20 Legends this weekend. Former Denver Broncos great Shannon Sharpe and Pittsburgh Steelers star Kevin Greene are now available in the game. We have a look at their new player cards, as well as their new Ultimate Team challenges. Here are all of the latest details to get Sharpe and/or Greene’s new items on your MUT roster.
New Madden 20 Legends Boss cards for Sharpe, Greene
Each weekend, a pair of Madden 20 Legends arrive into Ultimate Team with one player from the offense, and other for defensive. The offensive star for Sept. 21 is none other than Super Bowl winning tight end Shannon Sharpe. Gamers can obtain a Madden 20 Legends Boss card for Sharpe featuring a 91 OVR, various team Chemistry, and some great attributes.
Here’s a first look at the new card released into Packs for Saturday.
On the defensive side of the ball, we’ve got Pittsburgh Steelers left outside linebacker Kevin Greene. He also brings a 91 OVR Boss card into Ultimate Team, available through Packs. That includes a 91 for Finesse Moves, and 87s for Play Recognition, Power Moves, and Strength. Here’s the Kevin Greene card revealed for the Madden 20 Legends Boss item.
Both of the Boss items are obtainable in the Ultimate Store via Packs, or through the Auction Browser. It’s also possible to assemble a set of five lower-rated cards for the Boss player you want. So for Kevin Greene, you’ll put together the required set of five Greene items. For Sharpe, it’s the five Sharpe items. Once you have that full set of five items for the player, you can exchange for their Boss card.
Kevin Greene, Shannon Sharpe Power Up items via Challenges
In addition to those 91 OVR Boss Legends items, there are also Madden 20 Legends Challenges for both Shannon Sharpe and Kevin Greene. Their Challenges involve winning a game against their former team with them playing on the latest team. So you’ll need to defeat the Broncos to get Shannon Sharpe, and the Pittsburgh Steelers to get Kevin Greene Power Up item. Here’s a look at the screen for Sharpe’s Legends Challenge.
You can play these Legends Challenges on different levels of difficulty from one (Easy) to three (Hard) stars. You’ll only need to achieve one star to earn either player’s Power Up, though. So defeating the game on the One Star (Easy) level is the way to go if that’s all you want.
You can also earn up to two bonus stars on each player’s challenge by achieving certain bonus goals along with winning the game. Additional stars, earn you Coins. So a bit of time and grinding to win some games will bring some decent Ultimate Team rewards.
Or you can skip these challenges completely and head into the Auction Browser to buy or bid away on the Power Up items. See our guide on how to get Madden 20 Coins if you need extra spending currency in the game.
