For the past several days, Madden 20 Ultimate Team was teasing some new Zero Chill content with their posts about high wind gusts on the forecast for Florida. As of Thursday night, they revealed three of the new Madden 20 Out of Position players that will arrive in the game on Friday. They include J.J. Watt among others with 93-or-better ratings for the new MUT items.
J.J. Watt among new Madden 20 Out of Position Players
In a tweet on Thursday evening, EA’s Madden Ultimate Team revealed that a new 93 overall J.J. Watt as a tight end is one of three new Out of Position players. The Texans’ defensive end gets attributes such as 94 Strength, 90 Catching, 87 Catch in Traffic, and an 85 Spectacular Catch. Will gamers be taking a chance to use Watt as a tight end over popular options like Gronk, Kittle, or Shannon Sharpe?
He’s joined by the Indianapolis Colts’ Quenton Nelson. While he normally plays center for Indy, he’ll switch to a fullback under Madden 20 Out of Position. Nelson’s key attributes include 93 Block Shedding, 92 Lead Block, 92 Strength, and 90 Run Block. That makes for an interesting option to punch the ball in at the goal line.
Vita Vea OOP Master item revealed
Last up is the top-rated card of the three reveals. It’s a 95 overall Vita Vea card at halfback. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star gets attributes including 98 Trucking, 93 Acceleration, 92 Carrying, and 96 Break Tackle. Impressive stuff!
Most likely the Vita Vea OOP will require building a set consisting of the J.J. Watt and Quenton Nelson cards. That’s similar to the current situation with the Calvin Johnson OOP item available in Ultimate Team sets.
There is an offer currently available at the Ultimate Team Store to buy a 93 OVR random Madden 20 OOP Hero. It costs 5,620 Kindling currency to get any of the available 93 OVR players. Another offer gives an 85-or-better Madden 20 Out of Position Player for 925 Kindling.
As far as buying these cards, they’re not listed as of this report. However, 93 OVR Mike Evans OOP is going for 158,000 Coins or more and Patrick Ricard is going for 155,000 or more. If the two OOP cards coming tomorrow are of similar value, expect to pay about 300,000 Madden Coins or more at Auction Browser to pick up the Vita Vea.
In addition to those cards, check out the other new Zero Chill content that arrived over the past several days.
