Apex Legends has had an ongoing partnership with Prime Gaming for quite some time now, and that partnership continues to deliver new skins for players to get their hands on. The latest of these is Adrenaline Affliction, an all-new Octane skin which is now available to claim for a limited time.
How to Get the Octane Prime Gaming Skin in Apex Legends
Adrenaline Affliction is the second exclusive Prime Gaming skin to come to Apex Legends in Season 8. The first was Freedom Fighter, an exclusive Fuse skin which launched at the start of the season. For over a year now, Respawn has released a new cosmetic through Prime Gaming every month, and these typically come in the form of new character skins. They are exclusively available to Prime Gaming subscribers, and are only available for a limited window before disappearing. Indeed, Adrenaline Affliction won’t be around forever.
Players have until the 14th of April to claim Adrenaline Affliction for free, which will be shortly after the launch of the next Prime Gaming skin. The Freedom Fighter Fuse skin is still available to claim as of the time of writing. However, that is likely to change in the next few days. It’s currently unknown what the remaining Season 8 Prime Gaming skins will be, but players can expect one every month.
If you’ve never claimed one of these skins before, the process to do so is relatively simple. To start with, you’ll need both an EA account and an active Prime subscription (which includes Prime Gaming). Next, you’ll need to link these accounts. You can find instructions for how to do this on the Prime Gaming Apex Legends page. Players should note that you can only claim the skin once on a single platform; whichever one is the first platform on your linked EA account. As such, players should be careful to ensure that they get the skin on their preferred platform.
