Nintendo has unveiled a brand new Super Mario Odyssey outfit DLC. This new costume lets Mario turn himself into a hilarious-looking music conductor, complete with ridiculous wig and all. Players can grab themselves this new outfit right now in the game and equip it, as it was both announced and released by Nintendo this week.
Like other DLC outfits, this new Super Mario Odyssey music conductor costume includes the headpiece (wig in this case) and the outfit itself, which you can see in all its glory below. They are sold separately so you can get just one of them if you only like the wig or suit by themselves.
Of course, this new Super Mario Odyssey DLC conductor outfit does come with the caveat that you must have beaten the main story of the game across all of the various kingdoms in order to even purchase the outfit. That is the same case with the other previously released DLC outfits so that’s no surprise given that it’s nearly been a year since the game’s launch on Nintendo Switch.
For those of you who see the conductor outfit above and want to get it for yourself, here’s how to get it right now in Super Mario Odyssey. All you need to do is head to the Crazy Cap store in any of the numerous kingdoms and you can find the costume for sale there. If you don’t see it, make sure that you have the latest update installed on the game.
The Conductor Wig headpiece is available for sale for 500 coins while the Conductor Outfit is on sale for 1,000 coins. In total, you’ll need 1,500 coins if you want to nab the entire conductor set for your Super Mario Odyssey collection. The outfit itself is inspired by some of the art from the SNES title Mario Paint, similar to the Painter Outfit.
