Rockstar has today released a brand-new trailer for GTA Online’s upcoming Cayo Perico Heist; the next major expansion to the enormously successful online title. Due to launch next week, on the 15th of December, the new heist features a new island location and much more besides.

“Anything goes on Cayo Perico,” writes Rockstar; “a private paradise that’s home to the infamous El Rubio, the world’s preeminent narcotrafficker and supplier to the Madrazo family.”
The island of Cayo Perico, the setting for the upcoming heist, is a wealthy getaway where El Rubio lives in luxury. If players can get in, they could steal the biggest score ever available in a GTA Online Heist. Of course, that reward comes with a serious challenge. The Cayo Perico Heist features the most complex and varied approach to heist design and setup which Rockstar has ever brought to the game, allowing players to approach the mission from a wide range of positions.
“The Cayo Perico Heist is the biggest GTA Online adventure ever and will be available on December 15th,” writes Rockstar; “[…] It’s the score of a lifetime for those who can find a way in.”
The heist isn’t the only new feature coming to GTA Online very soon though. Rockstar are also preparing to launch The Music Locker, a new underground club located beneath The Diamond Casino. Described as “the greatest club that Los Santos has ever seen,” this location is reportedly due to open soon. However, Rockstar hasn’t announced a firm release date as of yet. When it does launch, The Music Locker will be open to all players, although a VIP section will be exclusively available to those who own a Penthouse at The Diamond. The launch of the new club also means a big upgrade to the in-game music, with new DJs and more music for the game’s existing radio stations.
