Epic Games has recently released Fortnite Battle Royale season 6 and players are currently trying out the new features. However, it seems it won’t be long before the developer releases another update for the popular video game. The new update will probably come out next Tuesday, and it might bring a new Fortnite trap.
It appears that nothing is going to change and Epic Games will keep releasing weekly updates in season 6. Considering that the season was released on Thursday, we can expect the new update to be released on October 4. However, the developer mostly releases updates on Tuesdays, so it could come out two days earlier.
New Fortnite trap
Data miners have already found a lot of interesting information in the game data. Twitter page FNBRLeaks has discovered a new Fortnite trap that could be released very soon. The data miner has found a Freeze Trap in the game files, and this trap was located in the Athena folder, which is a folder for the PvP mode.
Freeze Trap is already in Fortnite: Save the World, so players have an idea about how it’s going to work. “Hits all enemies on trap when triggered doing small damage and slowing players,” is what the in-game description of this trap states.
Looks like Freeze Traps will be coming to the game!

Epic Games has added many other items from the PvP mode, including Heavy Sniper, Legendary Submachine Gun, Scoped Thermal Assault Rifle, and more. There is no doubt that the trap will be adjusted for Fortnite Battle Royale, so it might work in a different way.
The Fortnite developer added many items in season 5, and we can expect the same for the current season. Beside the new trap, players might also get a Quad Launcher. This was leaked in season 5, but Epic Games still hasn’t released this weapon in the PvP mode.
