New Unofficial Community Patch For Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

After the announcement that Borderlands 2 is getting a patch that fixes various issues, the next title of the franchise that also gets one is Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Knowing the various bugs and issues all the Borderlands games had, these patches are a must. The new one is also an unofficial community patch made to help you play the game more effortlessly. It is the second version of the previous one of the game.

A team of modders along with Jim Raven released a new version of their unofficial community patch for the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel game. Of course, this is the second version of the previous patch they had made. The new one is aiming at making you keep guns, skills and other gears that you would discard in-game if you found them. Additionally, it gives you the ability to farm all these instead of waiting for them to drop.

This second version of the patch adds more new features to the previous patch instead of erasing the first one’s characteristics. Among those features are also the following:

  • Reduce of The Random legendary drop from Chubbies from 60% to 30%
  • Fixing a bug with FlameKnuckle Dropping the Pitchfork and forcing it to cost one ammo per shot instead of two.

However, the team did not reveal the features of version 2.2, so we do not know what they changed. They stated, though, that the changes exceed 335 in total. These changes were made to make the game more balanced than it was.

Knowing how useful the previous patch was for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, we are confident that version 2.2 will also be helpful and will improve the game.
