New Wonder Weapon & Grenade Now Available in Call of Duty Zombies
Mauer der Toten is the headline feature of today’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Season 4 Reloaded update; the game’s third round-based Zombies map, taking place in Berlin. However, alongside this map and a new Perk, Zombies has also gotten a powerful new Wonder Weapon and a new kind of craftable grenade.
Call of Duty Zombies – New Wonder Weapon & Grenade
While the Wonder Weapon, covered below, is only available in Mauer der Toten, the new LT53 Kazimir Grenade is available in all of the Zombies maps, including Outbreak. To get your hands on some of these advanced explosives, simply head to a Crafting Table and put some together. Unlike traditional frag grenades, Kazimir Grenades are more akin to black holes, sucking enemies in rather than blasting them away. When they land, the grenade emits a vortex which annihilates any enemy dragged into the centre.
The other new weapon is the CRBR-S Wonder Weapon. This powerful new handgun is only available in Mauer der Toten, and can only be acquired through specific means. The simplest way to acquire a CRBR-S is to unlock it via a Trials machine, although this method is also arguably the longest. There are two other ways, albeit ones which are both somewhat unreliable. The first is that a CRBR-S can show up in a Mystery Box. Of course, the odds of this happening are very slim indeed. The other is that there is a CRBR-S hidden somewhere in Mauer der Toten, which can be claimed by completing a special quest. Players will have to do their best to track this one down.
In form, the CRBR-S Wonder Weapon is an energy-based handgun. A device orbiting the weapon adds an extra shot whenever you fire, enabling you to lay down a surprising amount of firepower. However, this weapon can be transformed into several completely different weapons. There are three different forms of the Wonder Weapon beyond the default, and to transform the sidearm, you’ll need to find special Mod Kits. These will drop from zombies, though the odds of one dropping are slim.
