With many of today’s video games, having the best background music pumping over the speakers is essential. The new NHL 20 soundtrack should help keep fans hyped as they move through the various screens on the new hockey game, just based on the artist list. This year’s tracklist includes a number of new and popular artists including X Ambassadors and The Black Keys.
NHL 20 soundtrack artists list revealed
Headlining the artists on the NHL 20 soundtrack will be The Black Keys. The alt/rock duo of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have been active since 2001 and dazzling fans with all sorts of tunes over the years. Those have included “Tighten Up” in 2010 and “Lonely Boy” in 2011. Their 2014 album, “Turn Blue” ended up getting to No. 1 on the U.S. album chart.
Also on the game’s soundtrack will be the newer group X Ambassadors. They’ve been in the music industry since 2009 and have put out two albums so far with their sophomore album “Orion” released this past June. Among their biggest hits have been “Renegades,” “Unsteady,” and “Jungle.”
The latter of those tracks ended up remixed with lyrics from hip-hop star Jay-Z. It’s also been used a few times with professional or national sports. “Jungle” originally debuted during Game 5 of the 2015 NBA Finals. Later, the remix became part of the 2014 FIFA World Cup advertising for Beats Electronics.
