Switch fans will be happy to know that the first ever Nintendo Switch 1TB Micro SD card is now available for purchase. Though it’s taken quite a long time, Switch owners can now purchase the memory card through Sandisk’s official website. It is currently in stock and available for purchase for the whopping price of $449.99, which is actually more than the Switch itself.
It’s worth noting that while you can buy the Nintendo Switch 1TB Micro SD card right now, this is solely a pre-order currently. Even though the official website says “buy now”, you aren’t going to get it right now. If you proceed to purchase, the website then notes that this is actually a pre-order. Thankfully, you won’t have too long.
The Nintendo Switch 1TB Micro SD card is set to ship sometime in late April. It will boast the biggest possible memory to date for the hybrid Nintendo system. This comes just over two years after the initial release of the system in which Nintendo claimed it would support up to 2TB even though that wasn’t feasible at the time.
Now, we are inching one step closer with the release of the Nintendo Switch 1TB Micro SD card. We don’t blame you, though, if the $449.99 price tag is a little above your budget. Each year, these memory cards seem to dip in price more and more so wait just a couple of years and we’re sure the price of it will be much more reasonable.
If you are interested in picking a Nintendo Switch 1TB Micro SD card right now regardless, you can head to this link right here. Of course, this memory card can be used with a wide variety of hardware and has read speeds of up to 90MB/s. It is also built for extreme weather conditions by being temperature proof, waterproof, shock proof, and even x-ray proof.
