The Old School RuneScape Mobile worldwide release date has finally been announced for all players, not just those in select countries or who are subscribed members currently. The mobile version of long-running free PC MMORPG will be officially releasing on Android and iOS late next month on October 30, 2018. It will be a completely free download on Google Play and App Store.
Old School RuneScape Mobile has been a long time coming, as the mobile MMO was originally set to release last year in at least closed beta form but was put off several times before finally getting a closed beta earlier this year. The beta was exclusively for players who had a members account only.
Now, the doors are being opened to everyone to enjoy Old School RuneScape Mobile on the go. In addition to the closed members-only beta, the game recently had a soft launch in Canada and some Nordic countries. If you are located in those places, you can download and play right now ahead of the worldwide launch next month.
Over 500,000 players have already jumped in and played Old School RuneScape Mobile during the closed beta and soft launch period this summer. If you didn’t already know, this version of the game has complete cross-platform functionality with the PC version meaning that your account will crossover along with all of your levels, money, and items.
While you wait for Old School RuneScape Mobile to release on October 30, 2018, you can go ahead and pre-register for the game early so that you don’t miss a second when it launches.
