The saga of Richard “Xizt” Landström is finally coming to an end it seems as he has finally found his place on the roster of Counter-Strike giants Fnatic. Since his departure from Ninjas in Pyjamas, Landström was a certainty to join Fnatic to replace their young in-game leader Maikil “Golden” Selim. However Fnatic suddenly found themselves in an incredible run of form, wining two huge events in WESG 2017 and IEM Katowice 2018. As such, Xizt was without a home.
He soon found a temporary home however as Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer found himself having to step down from FaZe for a temporary period of unknown length. During Xizt’s time at FaZe they managed to take the trophy at IEM Sydney after a close final against Astralis, who later moved on to solidify themselves as the current world number 1.
Today the news broke, first through investigative journalists such as neL and later from official sources, that olofmeister would be making a return to the active roster of FaZe. His return should be a massive boost to the squad and for many will signal the return of FaZe to hopefully consistently challenge for the world number 1 slot they once held. Kajbjer was once considered the best player in the world during his time in the dominant Fnatic lineup of 2015. Some of his career achievements include being a two time Major winner and six event MVPs from HLTV including at one of the aforementioned Major victories.

However, this news once more leaves Xizt without a home, though it turns out this too was temporary. It has also been announced that, despite being a couple of months late, the originally anticipated move to Fnatic has come through finally. It wouldn’t be a Counter-Strike roster move without a twist though (not the player) as instead of replacing the in-game leader Golden, he will be replacing Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson. He will still be taking on the role of IGL however as Golden is set to move to entry fragger. As such Lekr0 will be moved to an inactive position on the bench awaiting news of his future.
ANNOUNCEMENT: We can today announce the return of @OfficialXizt to Fnatic!
His arrival sees @Lekr0cs move to a substitute position.
