There is Still One Final God of War Easter Egg Which Fans Have Yet to Find

Soon after the game’s release, fans began to unearth Easter eggs hidden in God of War. Some gamers found a hidden item cache by translating runes from a collector’s edition collectible item, while others simply followed the trail to piece together the game’s Infinity Gauntlet. According to the game’s director, however, there is still one final Easter egg which has yet to be unearthed by anyone.

The Hunt Comic is Supposed to Be a Major Clue

Cory Barlog and other members of the Santa Monica Studios’ team recently appeared at two panels at San Diego Comic-Con. Among the topics discussed, Barlog mentioned that there was still one Easter egg which hasn’t been found by fans; a statement which he has made on previous occasions. At the event, the studio also unveiled a prequel comic called “The Hunt”; one of the first things which the team created during the game’s earliest development stages.

Joe Kennedy, a Senior Concept Artist with the studio, tweeted after the event that this comic is a major clue that could lead fans to the final Easter egg. It appears to suggest that the secret could be hidden somewhere in Kratos’ home; a location which appears several times during the course of the story. Fans are already hard at work attempting to crack the case; as of yet, nobody has been able to unearth the final hidden secret. However, gamers have a tendency to be persistent when it comes to things such as this. It is no doubt only a matter of time before somebody solves the puzzle. Although the Easter egg has thus far failed to materialize, fans have made a number of interesting discoveries about Kratos’ home.

The Last God of War Easter Egg is Supposedly Hidden in Kratos' House

Given that most of God of War’s major Easter eggs have been in-game items, it seems reasonable to assume that this final secret could follow that trend. Of course, it could also be something completely different, perhaps suggesting why nobody has been able to find it yet.
