Valorant Episode I, Act I has been active now for around two months, but this first ‘season’ of the game will soon be coming to an end. As such, players only have one week left to complete the first-ever Valorant Battlepass. The pass will officially end at 14:00 PST on the 4th of August.
Valorant Battlepass Ends on the 4th of August
According to Respawn, the exact time that the Valorant Battlepass ends is currently subject to change. However, they have initially said ’14:00 PST’ as the end time, so players shouldn’t leave things to the very last minute in the hope of a delay! Rather than using the term “season” Riot has instead chosen to divide Valorant’s post-launch life-cycle into Episodes and Acts. Each Act is meant to last around two months, with each featuring its own Battlepass. The number of Acts per episode is currently unknown, but Episode 1 will certainly continue into Act II.
The Valorant Battlepass as it is currently designed is divided into 10 Chapters. For each Chapter which players complete, they will earn a free Chapter completion reward. So, even if you haven’t bought the Battlepass, completing it will still earn you 10 Chapter completion rewards. However, if you do buy the Battlepass, each Chapter features a further 5 Premium tier rewards. That means that Premium players can earn a total of 50 bonus rewards for completing the Valorant Battlepass.
Players now have around one week to complete the Episode I, Act I Battlepass. It’s currently unknown whether Act II will start right away or whether there will be a delay before the launch of the new Act. Similarly, it’s currently unknown if Riot plans to change the Battlepass format for the new Act. Thus far, the studio has seemingly stood by their commitment to no ‘pay-to-win’ content in the Battlepass; the only content available has been cosmetics and other items which offer no tangible in-game advantages.
