If you’re a fan of Overwatch, you must have seen those cool story videos of Overwatch on YouTube. Blizzard has been releasing those cinematic videos for most of Overwatch’s heroes. Personally, my favorites ones are Dragons (obviously) and Soldier: 76 story cinematic. Let me know which ones you like in the comments. Anyhow, let’s talk about the new short story that Blizzard Entertainment has released yesterday featuring a brand-new Mercy Skin in Overwatch.
New Mercy Skin Incoming For Overwatch?
Now, at this point, we don’t know if this skin is going to be released for Overwatch in the future, but then what’s the point of showing it off even? Here, you can read a whole new story that was released yesterday by Blizzard Entertainment and it is called – Valkyrie. It revolves around Mercy as a doctor.
The whole story consists of a total of 24 pages containing images of Mercy doing heroic stuff in the small art pieces. If you ask me, this skin would’ve looked ever cooler if they’ve just gone with normal legs with shoes on (maybe?) instead of those robotic ones. What do you think about this? Let me know in the comments! Below, you can find a small piece of the story that you can read.
“I was worried he was going into shock. I couldn’t move him until he had been patched up a little. A little stream of biotic healing would hold him for the moment, like Hanan, he was briefly surrounded by the golden glow of the stream, but slowly it almost seemed as though his entire chest was glowing with radiance. Little by little, his breathing was easier. I turned back to Hanan”
Overwatch was released on May 24, 2016, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Overwatch 2 doesn’t have an exact release date at this moment but is expected to hit the consoles and PC in 2020.
