Blizzard is bringing back Overwatch’s Summer Games event for a third season. The first year took place in Rio, while last year’s Games were set in Sydney. Now, it seems the Games will be traveling to Busan, South Korea based on the teaser post on Twitter.

The post hints at a new Lucioball map set in Busan. The seasonal mode is a fan-favorite, especially the competitive mode (Copa Lucioball) that was added last year. Blizzard and collegiate esports tournament organizers Tespa are even hosting a Copa Lucioball event this summer.
The three-on-three competitive Lucioball tournament will be held online from Aug. 11 to 12. The Tespa Arcade: Summer Lucioball tournament is open to all college students across North America. Registration is open now on the Tespa website, where you can also find a bunch more information about the tournament. These students will be fighting for their share of $900 in Blizzard Battle.net prizing, $300 of which will go to the winning team.
Participants will play in a five-round swiss-style tournament, fighting for their share of $900 in Blizzard Battle.net prizing, $300 of which will go to the winning team. Teams with a 3-2 or higher record will move on to the double-elimination bracket, where a winner will be determined.
Players can also look forward to a bunch of new skins and special sprays during the event. Skins from previous years will return to Overwatch at a discounted price, so if you missed out on Lifeguard McCree or Grillmaster: 76 last year, now is your chance to pick them up.
One of the new skins fans can look forward to this year is D.Va’s Legendary Waveracer skin. The new skin puts Hana Song in pink short shorts, heart-shaped sunglasses, and a life preserver vest (safety first). Meanwhile, her mech is also looking pretty summery, with a white and blue paint job with some pink accents and flowers.

Waveracer is Legendary, so it will likely be available to purchase for 3,000 credits, unless the Overwatch gods smile upon you and grant you with the skin in an event loot box.
This is just the first skin revealed from the event next week, so be on the look out for other new customization items leading up to the event. Summer Games is set to kick off on Aug. 9 and will run until the end of the month.
