How to Unlock the New “Pacific Palm” Epic Skin in Battlefield 5

Last week, DICE gave players the chance to unlock the new BAR M1918A2 light machine gun, and now, the latest Battlefield 5 weekly challenge is offering an Epic Skin for that same weapon; “Pacific Palm”. The 8th weekly challenge for War in the Pacific focuses on Breakthrough and Conquest, with objectives relating to a variety of different weapons.

The 8th Battlefield 5 War in the Pacific Weekly Challenge: Island Hopping

Island Hopping, the latest Battlefield 5 weekly challenge, is offering players a new Epic Skin for last week’s BAR M1918A2. While the challenges can be completed in various different modes, you can, as always, use the challenge menu to matchmake directly to an associated playlist. This week, it’s the Pacific playlist, featuring all the new War in the Pacific maps; Breakthrough and Conquest on Pacific Storm, Iwo Jima, and Wake Island. The objectives you’ll need to complete this week are as follows:

  • Firepower (4,000 XP); The first objective this week simply requires you to either kill or completely suppress a total of 8 enemies.
  • Gets the Job Done (12,000 XP); For this objective, you must score a total of 10 kills. However, you must get those kills with either a Type 99 Rifle, Type 94 Pistol, or Type 100 SMG.
  • Kitted Out (12,000 XP); Like Gets the Job Done, Kitted Out requires you to get 10 kills using either the M1 Garand, M1919A6, or M27 Revolver.
  • Retread Arsenal (12,000 XP); Slightly different to the other two, Retread Arsenal requires you to use the 12G Automatic, BAR M1918A2, or M1911 to get a total of 15 kills.
  • At Great Personal Risk (4,000 XP); At Great Personal Risk requires you to score 3 kills using the Katana.
  • Complex Logistics (12,000 XP); To complete Complex Logistics, you and your squadmates must call in a total of 40,000 requisition points worth of reinforcements.
  • Sky Samurai (12,000 XP); For this objective, you must earn a total of 1,500 score while using any aircraft.
  • Maintaining Momentum (4,000 XP); Ideal for Medic or Support players, this objective requires you to resupply or revive your teammates for a total of 1,000 score.
  • Directed Chaos (4,000 XP); To complete Directed Chaos, you’ll need to inflict a total of 500 damage with either explosives or fire.
  • Fight as One (25,000 XP); For the final big objective in this Battlefield 5 weekly challenge, you and your squad need to score a total of 50 kills while either attacking or defending objectives.
