This weekend saw top Pro Evolution Sports gamers on the planet face off for the 2019 PES League World Finals title. An exciting showdown would ultimately arrive to decide the 2019 crown with the reigning champion in the mix. However, he would ultimately meet his match as the Frenchman Usmakabyle was able to capture the 2019 PES World Finals championship.
PES 2019 World Finals pits 2018 champ Ettorito vs. Usmakabyle
The big event took place at Emirates Stadium in London this weekend and decided world champions for 2v2 and 1v1. In Saturday’s semifinals matchups, it would be the reigning PES champion Ettorito97 of Italy battling Southeast Asia’s Zeus_Faidan. On the other side of the bracket, Portugal’s Christopher_P took on France’s Usmakabyle. The reigning champ Ettorito97 would advance to take on the best PES 2019 player from France.
The big finals didn’t disappoint viewers either. After all, the two players own a total of four championships between them. Their matchup would go the distance, and then some, with Ettorito finding himself behind 3-2 in extra time. He’d score an equalizer goal to even things up. However, not long after that, Usmakabyle had an excellent play from the side throw in which he caught the reigning champ off guard to score.
Ahead 4-3, Usmakabyle employed the strategy of keeping the ball away from his opponent to run time off the clock. Ultimately, he was able to burn the final 10 minutes of the game without allowing the reigning champion any more scoring opportunities. As a result, Usmakabyle collected the 2019 championship and proudly hoisted the trophy for his country of France.
