There are just under three weeks until Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer will release their PES 2020 demo. At that time, gamers can begin to get a sense of the look and feel of the new aspects of the game. Konami revealed that the demo will allow players to use 14 different teams in it, with the first 11 announced before July. Just recently, they announced the big news that Manchester United is a partner and one of the demo teams. On July 11, they revealed another team and that will be FC Bayern Munich.
FC Bayern Munich joins PES 2020 Demo teams
The German football club which calls Allianz Arena home is going to be part of the PES 2020 demo. A press release arrived via Konami on Thursday to announce that they’re officially a Platinum Partner of FC Bayern.
“With each year, our development team continues to surpass expectations and we are very proud to present FC Bayern’s epic Allianz Arena and its players in all their glory in eFootball PES 2020,” Jonas Lygaard, Senior Director Brand & Business Development at Konami Digital Entertainment B.V said of the partnership.
Among the star players on Bayern’s first team are guys such as Franck Ribery, Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, James Rodriguez, and Thiago. Thanks to the new partnership with the PES eFootball title, they should now be included in the full game. At first, they’ll be available for the game’s demo at the end of the month.
Pro Evolution Soccer tweeted out the first image of some of the Bayern Munich players as they’ll appear in the game.
Bayern Munich joins Manchester United and Barcelona as partners for the eFootball title. The main Barcelona star Lionel Messi was featured in the first trailer for the new PES 2020 game and is also a cover star for the title.
Thursday’s reveals also included a brief video clip giving a first look at Bayern Munich 3D player faces in full rotation. It’s not quite the same as the gameplay glimpses fans saw for Manchester United, but that could be on the way soon.
Bayern Munich gameplay teaser, Serge Gnabry’s role with game
Just like Konami revealed with Manchester United, there was a full announcement trailer video for FC Bayern Munich. Ahead of the PES 2020 demo and full game launch, they showed off some more gameplay involving their new partner. With the news of Bayern Munich’s inclusion also comes news of another PES 2020 eFootball ambassador. That will be Serge Gnabry as announced by Konami on Thursday. He makes for a smart choice based on his body of work over the past year and season. Gnabry will be featured in various promotions for the game and special events. They also mentioned he’ll be on the game’s cover in some capacity.
Gnabry has participated in 42 matches, or 2,546 minutes of games so far this season. The Bayern Munich midfielder has 13 goals and six assists. He was also named Player of the Season for 2018-19. Now he’ be available as an option to score or make plays in the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer title.
