Konami’s new Pro Evolution Soccer is just around the corner, with a few months wait until it arrives. One of the exciting developments with the upcoming game is a PES 2020 Manchester United partnership. That particular arrangement will bring the popular English Premier League football team into the game. To celebrate the official partnership, PES allowed players to meet their virtual selves, and even try a demo of the upcoming game.
Media, community attends PES 2020 Manchester United partnership event
When PES arrives in a few months, gamers will be able to run with one of the most popular EPL clubs, Manchester United. With the big announcement of Man United partnering with the game, the folks behind PES 2020 invited members of the media and community to attend a special event. It took place recently at United’s Aon Training Complex. Pro Evolution Soccer posted on their Twitter to show off photos from the big event too.
With the use of special technology, they were able to bring some of the club’s first team players from in the game to the stage. This allowed those players in attendance to see and “meet” their own virtual footballer representatives in all their glory. Check out the photos below showing off six of the Manchester United players from PES 2020.
The PES 2020 Manchester United event also gave some individuals a first opportunity to get their hands on a controller and try out the video game. While there wasn’t too much footage revealed on Twitter, it’s clear those who got to demo the upcoming eFootball title were enjoying it.
In addition to the PES 2020 Manchester United previews, the event also featured legends from the team on the pitch. Andy Cole, Denis Irwin, and Park Ji Sung all stopped by to get in some training and play some football on the real field.
Others can test out the new eFootball game soon
Speaking of PES 2020 demo, it arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs via Steam as of July 30th. When that early preview of the game arrives for gamers, they’ll have a total of 11 teams to choose from. They include Arsenal and Manchester United among the options. PES will announce the last two clubs this month, so it should be interesting to see if they include other EPL teams.
The full version of the PES 2020 eFootball game has a release date of September 10, 2019. Just like the demo, the full version will also be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PCs upon release. Check out pre-order details at the official website.
