Sports simulation games have come a long way in terms of integrating brand names into them. The PGA Tour 2K21 golf game is among those sim titles that features different sponsorships. Sponsors will give you opportunities to unlock cool new gear and golf clubs for your use. How to get sponsors for PGA Tour 2K21 Career mode
In PGA Tour 2K21 Career mode, you take your created pro golfer and try to work your way onto the PGA Tour. After all, that’s the goal in professional golf. Once you get there, you will have opportunities to unlock different sponsors.
Sponsors include Addidas, Bridgestone, Under Armour, Wilson, Callaway, Taylormade, and Vice Golf in PGA Tour 2K21. Once associated with these brands, you can unlock new golf clubs, clothing, and other gear to exclusively show off as you hit the tournaments.
So your first objective is to work your way up to the PGA Tour before even thinking about sponsors. If you want, when you begin Career mode you can choose to go straight to the PGA Tour. You’ll see from that moment that you have an opportunity to get your first sponsor by completing a series of goals.
So for ones of the above goal, you need to score six birdies or better. That basically means one stroke fewer than the par for six different holes on a course. In addition, you need to finish at -4 or better after a round and finish in the top 10 of one event.
Once you’ve done all of those goals in a certain number of events, you’ll unlock your first sponsor contract offer via The Golf Club. That contract offer will help you earn Sponsor Points (SP) and you’ll also unlock exclusive rewards as you level up with the sponsor.
Try for a new sponsor before PGA events
As you move through the PGA Tour events, you can choose a different sponsor prior to a tournament. So for example, you might choose to try for a contract offer from Adidas, TaylorMade, Wilson, or Under Armour.
With each sponsor you choose, you then decide between an Easy, Medium, or Hard contract offer. Each brand’s contracts have different goals. Each difficulty level gives a different amount of SP. Here’s an example of Adidas with what sorts of goals and SP comes with each level contract offer.
As you can see the difficulties bring more SP with them, but the goals are harder to achieve. Still, it allows you to unlock some great gear to rock out on the courses as well as new clubs to add to your bag.
